Text for the post of me in the sprinkler

If it isn't obvious I LOVE water! In about two to three weeks (or it it warms up faster than expected) dad will post some pix of me in grandmas' pool. I loved going "swimming" last year, but this year I'm big enough to start learning how to swim for real

Summer is here!

At the park....

 Dad thought it was funny that I never once let go of my Thomas the Train squirt toy the whole time I was climbing through the lions' head tunnel. We were also wondering if anyone knows the name of the park that is at the corner of Penn St & Polk St  and then has Outer Dr along the one side which makes the park a big triangle, dad is pretty sure the park is in Dearborn but Dearborn heights is a possibility too. I'm sure someone will know what it's called, either email the name to dad or leave a comment on the blog. Take care everyone, Balyn.

Here is one of those pictures you really wish didn't exist 15 years in the future, even tho I'm so cute in it. I'm sure dad and mom will have fun showing pictures like this to my flying car driving future girlfriend's.

 Today we went to the Matthaei Botanical Garden located in Ann Arbor, MI. In addition to a great conservatory (fancy greenhouse), which is free to enter on Wednesdays, they have a new children garden and activity area located outside behind the conservatory. The conservatory is loaded with tons of great plants, trees, cactus', two koi ponds, a waterfall and a Japanese bonsai rock garden display among other great things. Check out there website and visit if you can, it truly is a local gem that needs the continued support of the state and out of state visitors. It would be a shame if this place ever closed like the belle isle aquarium did. Www.lsa.umich.edu/mbg
Oh yea, forgot to mention the nature trails located throughout the property loaded with native plants with markers telling what they are. There is another place called Nichols Arboretum which is partners with Matthaei and just a short drive away.

We plan on going back soon, next time it won't be so cold which will make for a day filled with more fun and I will probably have friends to play in the digging pit with.
