I scream, you scream, we all scream for.....ICE CREAM!!!

Here I am enjoying my first ice cream cone at Gibbs Sweet Station in New Boston,MI (click link below). The ice cream was vanilla made by Guernsey Dairy Farm of Northville,MI. If you get a chance and are in the New Boston,MI area I recommend you stop in at Gibbs and try one of there waffle cones that are hand made in the ice cream shop's front window everyday they are open (homemade waffle cone not in the video or pictures below).

Spring

Today me and dad found the first morel mushroom of the season. It was pretty small, the cap only being about the size of a quarter. It was so fresh out of the ground that it appeared almost the same color of a grey morel but dad is pretty sure it's a young yellow morel. We found the morel, which is very early by the way, in a small patch of those white landscape rocks that were used to fill a hole inbetween our two flower gardens. Here is a picture of me and the mushroom.

I found easter beaver eggs!
