Spring

Today me and dad found the first morel mushroom of the season. It was pretty small, the cap only being about the size of a quarter. It was so fresh out of the ground that it appeared almost the same color of a grey morel but dad is pretty sure it's a young yellow morel. We found the morel, which is very early by the way, in a small patch of those white landscape rocks that were used to fill a hole inbetween our two flower gardens.
